Who are we and what are we offering
Vibe is made up of passionate individuals who have various backgrounds, experiences, and skill sets which we use to support and guide young people towards their next step.  Our team is made up of teachers, musicians, professional sportsman, outdoor enthusiasts and sports coaches who all want to use their experience to help others.

Through Vibe we are offering a range of structured activities that are inclusive to children of all 
capabilities and needs.  The positive health and well-being of the children is paramount.  Throughout our sessions we will promote self-esteem and behaviours which will allow children to make progress in their learning and development of skills.

We combine activities and education together, covering a variety of topics with the work being tailored specifically for the ability and interests of the child.   

We request a referral form to be completed by those closest to the young person we are to be working with.  This referral form provides key information to help us better understand the individual and will also provide aims and goals for our team to work towards.  These aims can be educational but also look to support communication and interaction and social emotional and mental health to help these young people grow to their full potential.

Each child will have an observation completed by staff for every session they complete with us.  This covers what they did, their attitude and application to the day, their behaviour, how they worked towards their aims from the original referral and how the day covered any aspects of learning.

 

Project work 

We also provide opportunities for children to create a project idea, and then create this from start to finish. This will include the initial brainstorming and planning through to creating a finished product and/or achievement. Woven with in this are many opportunities for educational learning such as maths and literature. Along with encouraging opportunities to build confidence, communicate and interact with others in different settings.

Using the knowledge and expertise of our staff we can offer projects that include but are not contained to:

A project may look like from start to finish:

• Ideas board

• Planning- measuring- materials- equipment etc.

• Budgeting

• Collecting materials needed

• Creating

• Finishing touches

• Final completed project

 

Where are we?
VIBE is a mobile operation that allows us to operate from one of our sites such as Atlantic Reach, Holiday Village, Hendra Holiday Park or St Dennis Football as well as visiting beaches, forests or other sites suitable for any of our sessions.

 

We have a primary base set up at Atlantic Reach, which is a relaxed and private room in which activities such as pool, board games, cooking (starting soon), art and many more can be enjoyed.  We have indoor and outdoor spaces at our disposal.

We also have a good working relationship with many sites around Newquay and Cornwall. This allows us to offer day trips to locations such as the Eden project, Newquay zoo, the Maritime museum, National trust sites and many more. This is an ever expanding list and we will always encourage new ideas and interests.
